Hazel C. McDonald formerly of Gratiot, Wisconsin passed away December 15, 2011 at the age of 99 in Darlington, WI. She was born February 26, 1912 in Gratiot, to Frank and Emma (Johnson) Winters. Hazel was a graduate of Gratiot High School the class of 1931 and married John W. McDonald in September of 1931 in Gratiot. Hazel was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altern Rosary Society in Gratiot. She resided for nearly two years at the Lafayette County Manor in Darlington where she received wonderful care. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Hazel is survived by 5 children - Ronald J. (Sonie) McDonald of Gratiot, IL, Shirley Bourquin of Warren, IL, Lucille (David) Griffiths of Elburn, IL, Patricia (George) Ring of Dyer, IN, and Mary Javor of Hoffman Estates, IL; 10 grandchildren- Susan (Jim) Wolf, Cyndee Stiefel, Sherry (Al) Krmpotch, Denise (Ray) Hoshell, Jon Bourquin, Todd (Susie) Griffiths, Tanya (Scott) Burnidge, Brad Ring, Lana (Jerome) Slawkowski, and Corrine (Mike) Sikora; 15 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 1985, grandson Michael Javor, and son-in-laws Jerry Bourquin and Ronald Javor

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 20, 2011 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot

Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot

Interment will take place at the Gratiot Catholic Cemetery
