Harry A. Buhlmann

Harry A. Buhlmann, age 92 of Monroe, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his home. Harry was born May 30, 1924 in Green County, the son of Alfred and Lillian (Morel) Buhlmann. He graduated from Juda High School and married Rachel N. Helland on October 7, 1945 in Juda. Harry lived and worked in Green County all of his life.

He is survived by two sons, Craig (Rhonda) Buhlmann and Allen (Mary) Buhlmann, both of Monroe; two grandsons, Darin (Erin) Buhlmann of Monroe and Eric (Denise) Buhlmann of Hartland, WI; three great grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Dick) Randolph and family of Maryville, TN; and many nieces and nephews. Harry was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Monroe and is further survived by his pastor and close friend, Steve Owen and his family. His was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel; on August 17, 1990; two sisters, Dorothy Goecks and Rose Schafer; and his brother, Charles Buhlmann.

Per Harry's request cremation rites will be accorded with private family services held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Juda. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net.
