Glen was an area farmer for most of his life. After retiring from farming, he was employed by Swiss Colony for 14 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and feeding backyard birds. His loving, caring heart and unique sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew him. Glen and Lauretta were intimately involved in the raising of not only their children but their grandchildren as well, which continues to foster a loving, tight-knit family. Glen was an exceptional husband, father, and grandfather, who appreciated all the precious time spent together with family. His kind, encouraging words, and memorable stories will never be forgotten. He leaves behind many who will treasure his friendship and kindnesses. He will be missed greatly.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lauretta, parents, six brothers and two sisters.
