NEW GLARUS - New Glarus Area EMS responded with police to a call in the village at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, May 7.

• New Glarus Area EMS responded with police to a call in the village at 6:34 p.m. Saturday, May 11. An 800-pound air compressor fell while being moved from a vehicle and it crushed the victim's hand.
