The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched to a residence in the 700 block of 17th Avenue at 6:46 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, for a fire in an oven that started while the oven was being heat-cleaned.

DARLINGTON - Argyle Ambulance was alerted to a call at a residence on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township at 8:59 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
• Shullsburg Ambulance was alerted to a call at Shullsburg Clinic at 1:10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
• Benton First Response and Hazel Green Ambulance were alerted to a call at a residence on Gibson Street in Benton at 8:14 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. A deputy assisted.
• Shullsburg Ambulance was alerted to a call on County W in Monticello Township at 11:53 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. A child had slipped and fallen from a piece of farm machinery and sustained a leg injury. A deputy assisted.
