DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Shullsburg Ambulance responded at 3:03 a.m. to West Estey Street, City of Shullsburg.

• Shullsburg Ambulance responded to a call at 2:02 p.m. to Heller Court, City of Shullsburg.

• Shullsburg Ambulance responded to South Galena Street, City of Shullsburg at 9:26 p.m.

On Saturday:

• Rural Medical Ambulance and a deputy responded at 12:47 a.m. to Palmer Road, Darlington Township.

• Benton First Response, Hazel Green Ambulance and a deputy responded to Whaley Court, Village of Benton at 10:32 a.m.

On Sunday:

• Blanchardville Ambulance and Blanchardville police responded to a call at 1:48 p.m. to Blake Street, Village of Blanchardville.

• Wiota First Response, Argyle Ambulance, Rural Medical Ambulance and a deputy responded at 2:15 p.m. to Park Street, Town of Wiota.

• Rural Medical Ambulance and a deputy responded to East Louisa Street, City of Darlington at 5:28 p.m.

• Rural Medical Ambulance and a deputy responded at 8:40 p.m. to Wis. 81, Darlington Township.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Fire Department was paged at 11:07 p.m. Thursday, for a reported odor of gas at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 2nd Street. Police located a gas meter that was leaking. We Energies was also contacted and the problem was addressed.

On Saturday:

• The New Glarus Fire Department along with police responded to an active fire alarm at 1:53 p.m. on Glarner Drive. It was determined to be a false alarm caused by burning food.

• The New Glarus Fire Department and police responded at 6:14 p.m. to the 300 block of Elmer Road for an active fire alarm. An investigation revealed that someone had set off the alarm and there was no actual fire.
