F. Maxine Kjorness age 92 of Albany, Wisconsin died Friday, February 17, 2012, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. She was born May 31, 1919 in Albany the daughter of Truman and Lorna (Multer) Stewart, graduated from Albany High School, & Madison Beautician School.

Maxine and Gerald Kjorness were married August 27, 1944 at Albany United Methodist Church. Maxine owned & operated the Albany Beauty Mart from 1944 until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of Albany United Methodist Church, Albany Eastern Star, & Albany Historical Society.

Surviving are her daughters, Susan Boring of Elkhorn, WI & Penny (Jim) Graves of Albany, WI; grandchildren, Nadja, Angela, Myanna, Fred, Matthew, Phillip, Megan, & Katie; and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Parents; Husband; and son-in-law, Richard Boring. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Albany United Methodist Church with a Funeral Service following with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating. Private Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany.
