Evelyn M. Lane, age 80, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born February 17, 1929 in South Wayne, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Ellen Hanson Bergum.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and 10 brothers and sisters.
She was married to Floyd A. Jackson in 1947 and is survived by her children, Teddy Jackson, Dubuque, IA, Bart Jackson, South Wayne, WI, Vicki Vallero, Monroe, WI, Karl Jackson, Marshall, WI, and Laurie Hansen and Marc Hansen, both of Xenia, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lane was a loving mother and grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of "A House of Prayer," church in Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in South Wayne, WI, with the Rev. Dennis Perger officiating. Visitation for family and friends will follow the service.
