Ethel Mae Dienberg age 86 died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at Stoughton Hospital. She was born on February 18, 1924 in Rush Township Illinois the daughter of John and Louisa (Paige) Sigafus. Ethel married John Dienberg on February 10, 1944 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1981. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, growing flowers and house plants. She loved cooking and Christmas baking for the family, sitting outside her apartment and watching the people. Ethel loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will be deeply missed. She is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Chuck) Pence of Brooklyn Wisconsin, Shirley Nicholson of Highland Wisconsin, a brother John (Shirley) Sigafus of Hayward Wisconsin, fourteen grandchildren, Kenneth, Dawn, Brian, Marcia, Mark, Rebecca, John, Cole, Kim, Keith, Kenneth Jr., Gene, Michelle and Carolyn, forty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers Jerry, Earl, Chuck, two sisters Eva and Marjorie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday January 31, 2011 at the Ward Funeral Home in Evansville Wisconsin. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery Evansville, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
