The Angels came to guide Ethel Binger on a beautiful, sunny, birdsong filled morning Monday, April 27, 2015 to heaven above.

Her beliefs were as strong as the person she was known to be. Ethel Fay Sawyer was born on October 5, 1936 to Stanley and Ola (Downing) Sawyer in Mukwonago-Waukesha, WI. She grew up in the surrounding Delavan Lake area along with her brothers John and Ray.

Married to Thomas Binger Jr. for 34 years, they welcomed eight children Steven (Patty) Binger; Jeanette (Stan-deceased) Heins; Merry Sommers; Tim Binger; Mark Binger; Matthew Sawyer; Melissa (Michael) Kindschi and deceased son, Todd Andrew, in infancy.

Blessed grandchildren were Josh (Brittany) and Corey Binger; Michael (Jodi) Kevin (Brinn) and Katelyn Heins; Allan Blood; Tabitha, Jacob and Nathan Kindschi. Sweet great-granddaughters: Olivia, Rilyn and Julia.

In addition to being a loving and caring Mother and having a sense of humor for some of her kids crazy antics and life in general, she worked as a bookkeeper for Binger-Bahler Produce, clerked at Yodel Bakery; Lanz Hardware; Rufenacht Oil and Lucky 7; Goetz Theatre; Wolfe's Office Supply. She then held positions at Swiss Colony; St. Clare Hospital housekeeping and the Shuttle Service.

Avid interests included crocheting, sewing, gardening, reading, garage sales, car rides, floating on her back in a cool lake on a hot summer day and enjoyed having her beloved pets.

Ethel served as Theater Guild Treasurer, Greenco Board of Directors and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

She enjoyed treasured times with family and many loved friends with special mention of: Carol Prain; Susie Hiltbrand; Myra Gobeli; Irene Mellenberger and in Remembrance George Banister.

Ethel also leaves behind surviving brother, Ray Sawyer; brother-in-law Roger Binger; sister-in-law, Donna Binger, and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses, Chaplain, and Staff of the Monroe Clinic Hospital, and also Rev. Tiff Bates of St. John's United Church of Christ for their professional, caring skills and genuine kindness and concern.
