Eleanor B. Frederick, age 89 of Monroe, died Thursday, January 8, 2015. She was born on February 22, 1925, in Green County; the daughter of Martin and Lena (Ladwig) Frederick. She was a graduate of Monroe High School. Eleanor worked for Huber Brewery, Burgess Batteries, Fred Gaelli, the Swiss and Limburger Cheese factory, and was Treasurer for the City of Monroe for years. She was a member of the New Apostolic Church, where she served as Church organist and Sunday School Teacher for many years.

She is survived by her brother, Edwin Frederick; brother-in-law, Harris (Sandy) Thacher; nieces and nephews: Nancy (Ray) Schoeller, Edward (Kris) Frederick, Frederick Thacher, and Judy (Alex) Upmann; and nine great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Florence Marie Thacher.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, January 16, 2015 at the New Apostolic Church in Beloit, at 516 W. Grand Ave. Beloit, WI. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, at a later date. A visitation will be held Friday, January 16, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home in Monroe. A memorial fund is being established in Eleanor's name.
