JANESVILLE, WI - Elaine J. Kingston, age 72, of Janesville died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Beloit Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1940 in Argyle, WI, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Mae (Lutz) Trotter. Elaine moved to the Afton area at the age of 14 and graduated from Beloit High School in 1959. On August 29, 1959, she married James V. Kingston and together they had two daughters. Over the years, Elaine worked at Seneca Foods, McDonald's on Center Ave. and managed the Dairy Queen on Racine St., until she retired in 2000. A very happy, loving, dedicated and caring wife and mother, Elaine was very involved in her families lives. She enjoyed her shopping trips with her daughters and spoiling her grandchildren, which is what all grandmothers do.

She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Jim; and her two daughters: Robin (John) Nastali and Roberta Tamone all of Janesville; her two grandsons whom she truly adored: Zackary and Dominic. She is further survived by her sister: Kathryn Friedrich of Monroe, WI and her brother: Nathan (Carolyn) Trotter of Janesville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother: Charles.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Whitcomb-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Forrest Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Town of Rock Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
