Edward T. Reynolds, age 50, of Monroe, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born on September 20, 1962 in Monroe the son of Albert and Marion (Boll) Reynolds. He was a 1981 graduate of Monroe High School. Edward and Cherrie Gray were married on May 10, 1992 in Flint, MI. Edward was currently working for the City of Monroe as an Engineering Technician, and previously worked at Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department. He was a Minister and a member of the New Apostolic Church, a member of the Monroe Lion's Club and was on the Design Committee for Monroe Main Street.
He is survived by his wife, Cherrie Reynolds; sons, Thomas Reynolds, 18 years, Stephen Reynolds, 16 years, Zachary Reynolds, 14 years; sisters, Suzanne Patterson of Monticello, Sandra Wubbena of Freeport, IL; brother, Jon (Lisa) Reynolds of Monroe; aunt, Barbara Rockey of Juda; mother and father-in-law, Lorna J. and Arthur G. Gray of Davison, MI; sister-in-law, Gaylene Turner of Davison, MI; many nieces and nephews, friends and his loving cats. He is predeceased by his parents; and his infant brother, Thomas.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the New Apostolic Church, 2404 11th Avenue in Monroe. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
