David S. Bates, age 46, of Monroe, Wisconsin died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at his home. He was born May 27, 1965 at Doylestown, PA the son of Donald and Joyce (Vogt) Bates and attended Argyle WI Schools. David worked for Newman Feed Service, Huber Brewery, owned & operated Extreme Cleaning Service, and owned & operated the Bargain Depot.

Surviving are his son, Cody L. Bates of Monroe; daughter, Makayla L. Bates of Monroe; parents, Donald & Joyce Bates of Orangeville, IL; siblings, Donald Jr. (Leahang) Bates of Sterling, IL, Dennis Bates of Monroe, Debbie (Steve) Dundee of Juda, & Darryl (Amy) Bates of Monroe; special friend, Carrie Marchant of Monroe; brother-in-law, Matt Chapman of Lena, IL; and many nieces, nephews, & relatives. He was predeceased by his Grandparents; sister, Dawn Chapman; and niece, Keanah Bates.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Acres Cemetery at Orangeville, IL.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Funeral Home.

A Memorial Fund is being established in David's memory.
