Daniel A. Gobeli, age 57, of rural Browntown, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at U.W. Hospital Madison. He was born on January 16, 1960 in Monroe, the son of Theodore and Myra (Olson) Gobeli. He was a Monroe High School graduate.
Daniel and Lisa Hermanson were united in marriage on August 30, 1997 in Monroe.
Dan was employed as a Layout Technician at the MPG Foundry in Browntown for nearly 40 years.
He was a past member of Peace Church of Christ in Browntown. He enjoyed fishing, hunting morel mushrooms, known as a hard worker, having worked until a week before he died.
Dan was an avid Packers fan, never missing a game.
He was a simple man, who loved his family and put them first every day.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Browntown, mother, Myra Gobeli, children: Audra Marie Gobeli, Logan Lee Hermanson, Collin Allen Gobeli, Jordan Dale Hermanson, Derek Etienne Gobeli, and Megan Danielle Gobeli; 7 grandchildren: Trevor, Andres, Angelina, Chasidy, Treston, Peyton, and Xxander; siblings, Randy (Theresa) Gobeli, Ronnie (Vickie) Gobeli, Richard (Gerry) Gobeli, Jerry (Ernie) Gobeli, Dave (Lori) Gobeli, Wendy (Frank) Warner, Marty (Bonnie) Gobeli, Vicki (Joe) Pizzolato.
He is predeceased by his dad, Theodore, nephews, Corey Becker and Zach Gobeli.
Celebration of Life visitation will be Tuesday, April 11th from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave., in Monroe.
