The story on Daniel Esh Fisher's sentencing in Lafayette County Circuit Court published in the July 27 edition of the Monroe Times contained an error.

Current Lafayette County District Attorney Jenna Gill was not involved in joint sentencing recommendations in the Fisher case as those were made under the county's previous district attorney in 2016 and Gill did not assume her office until January 2017.

The Times regrets the error.
