Clara Rundle

Clara Rundle age 98 of Brodhead, WI, formerly of Argyle, WI, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Manor in Footville, WI. She was born March 12, 1913 to Martin and Carolyn (Peterson) Bredeson. Clara was united in marriage to Milo Rundle on November 8, 1933 in Freeport, IL. They lived and farmed in Wiota Township, while Clara worked for many years at Dorman Cheese in Monroe, WI. Clara and Milo moved to Argyle in 1983 and in 1992 to Brodhead, WI, to be near their son.

Clara is survived by one son: Phillip (Mary) Rundle of Brodhead; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Victor (Rosemarie) Bredeson of Beloit, WI, and Gustav (Kay) Bredeson of Blanchardville, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Milo on January 23, 1994; two sons: David in 1986 and Myron in 1988; eight brothers: Robert, Bjarne, Maurice, Louis, Henry, Lawrence, Melvin, and Alvin; and two sisters: Mable Campbell and Helen Bredeson.

Clara was a member of Argyle United Methodist Church. She enjoyed dancing and going to auctions with her husband. Clara also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, including her special friends, Grant and Darlene Gilbertson, and playing cards, especially Rummy. She was a very special mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will always be loved and remembered.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 18, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Argyle United Methodist Church, 200 South Street in Argyle with Father Herbert H. Schmitt of St. Elizabeth Manor officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2011, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church.
