Clair W. Dietmeier, age 51 of Monroe, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. Clair was born March 24, 1962 in Monroe, the son of Loran C. and Ulonda M. (Signer) Dietmeier. He grew up on the family farm and attended special education classes in Monroe. Clair enjoyed helping with chores and had a special love for horses and his cat, Sam. He has worked at Greenco Industries since leaving the farm in 1991 and attended Monroe United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Ulonda Dietmeier of Monroe; his sister, Celeste (Richard) Laabs of Portage; his nephew, Erich (Kim) Laabs and their children, Drake, Ruby, and James. He was preceded in death by his father on October 4, 2013.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Monroe United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Booth officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Memorials in his name may be given to the CLAIR Scholarship Fund in care of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net.
