Jaime Castellanos-Lugo, Jr., 23, was charged April 22 with a Class I felony count of interfering with child custody. A warrant is issued for his arrest. Court records indicate he took a 15-year-old Monroe girl to Freeport and Chicago without her parent's consent, as a party to a crime. She went missing for about a week.
Joanna Jeanette Ace, 34, Albany, was charged April 29 with a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and one count of felony bail jumping. She reportedly was the aggressor in a fight with her live-in boyfriend at a residence on Nichols Street in Albany. Police arrived to find "droplets of blood all over the kitchen floor" and found Ace had a blood-alcohol level of 0.141 percent. The incident is an alleged violation of her signature bonds on pending charges of dealing narcotics and intoxicated driving. She has a preliminary hearing May 23.

Larry Duane Van Dusen, 41, South Wayne, was charged April 17 with misdemeanor bail jumping (two counts), criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Court records indicate he caused a disturbance in the morning hours of April 17 outside a residence in the 1600 block of 16th Avenue in Monroe, pounding on the door and breaking two large flower pots in the yard. Officers report he blew a blood-alcohol level of 0.22 percent on a breathalyzer test. He told police he had seven mixed drinks at a nearby tavern, despite a court order that he not drink. Van Dusen was also charged the same week with misdemeanor bail jumping for an incident Oct. 13, when a caller to the police department reported Van Dusen was wandering intoxicated and talking to himself at 5 a.m. in the 1300 block of 25th Avenue in Monroe. His next court appearance is May 31.
Kent R. Johnson, 29, Blanchardville, was charged April 25 with three Class A misdemeanor counts of writing worthless checks in the Monroe area last August, September and November to Papa Don's Horseshoe Saloon, 1901 10th Ave. ($25), Monroe Beverage Mart, W5924 County KK ($159.45) and Napa Auto Parts, 105 W. 8th St. ($188.32). His initial appearance is May 13.
Kendra L. Mazahreh, 35, Monroe, was charged April 25 with a Class A misdemeanor count of writing five worthless checks totaling $280 to Papa Don's Horseshoe Saloon, 1901 10th Ave., Monroe. Her initial appearance is May 13.
Michael Mitchell, 53, Monticello, was charged April 30 with a Class A misdemeanor count of battery and a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, stemming from an incident April 26 on Highland Avenue in Monticello. Court records allege he yelled abusive language at a woman, grabbed her arm and pulled her forcefully through a door, causing her to fall and bruise her arm. Mitchell has a pre-trial conference scheduled June 4.
Christopher J. Simon, 28, Brodhead, was charged April 30 with misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, battery, making threats via computer message and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from a domestic dispute April 25 in the 1000 block of 3rd Street in Brodhead. He allegedly yelled and swore at a woman, pushed her into a door and sent her abusive texts. Simon also reportedly possessed 1.5 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia that included a grinder, rolling papers, a glass pipe, a metal scoop and a bent metal wire. Simon has pleaded not guilty to all charges. He has a pre-trial conference scheduled June 4.
Dustin Alan Boeck, 28, Monroe, was charged May 1 with a Class A misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon, stemming from an alleged offense April 25 at the Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office, 2841 6th St., Adams Township. Court records indicate he was carrying an 8 1/2-inch fixed blade hunting knife in a black sheath, worn at the small of his back at his waist and not visible under his shirt and coat.
