Felonies

• The court Wednesday sentenced Travis C. Henricks, 26, Monroe, to three months in jail with work release privileges and two years probation after he pleaded no contest to delivering marijuana.

He faced more than three years in prison and up to $10,000 for the class I felony.

The court dismissed one count of manufacturing marijuana, a class I felony. He originally faced up to seven years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines.

Court records indicate he delivered about 27 grams of marijuana to an undercover officer Oct. 3 in Monroe.

• The court Wednesday scheduled a July 24 sentencing hearing for Leonard R. Lee, 33, New Glarus, who pleaded guilty to burglary.

He faces more than 12 years in prison and up to $25,000 for the class F felony.

The court dismissed one count of felony criminal damage to property, a class I felony, criminal damage to property and theft, both class A misdemeanors. He originally faced more than 17 years in prison and up to $55,000 in fines.

Court records indicate he entered a New Glarus residence May 18, 2008.

He remains free on $5,000 signature bond.

• The court Tuesday scheduled a July 21 district attorney conference for Richard W. Jarosz, 40, Monroe, who pleaded not guilty to two counts of failure to pay child support.

Court records allege he failed to pay child support from April 2007 to May 2008.

He is charged with two counts of failure to support, both class I felonies. He faces up to seven years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $10,000 signature bond.

• The court Wednesday scheduled a July 21 district attorney conference for Douglas W. Axelson, 23, Brodhead, who pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court records allege he had more than one gram of marijuana in a cigarette package March 29 in Brodhead.

He is charged with possession of marijuana, a class I felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, an unclassified misdemeanor. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $10,500 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.
