GREEN COUNTY
FELONIES
Michelle M. Anderson, 30, Albany, was charged with possessing marijuana, a felony, and resisting an officer July 17 after police stopped her June 6 for operating left of center on Union Street at East Main Street in Albany. According to court documents, officers observed she had glassy eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. She reportedly failed standard field sobriety tests and was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and marijuana possession after police searched her car and found 3.4 grams of suspected marijuana. Police transported her to Monroe Clinic for a blood draw, after which she allegedly became argumentative, grabbed an officer's wrist and "physically resisted and fought officers as they attempted to return her to the exam room and handcuff her." She was also cited for driving with a prohibited alcohol content, having open intoxicants in her vehicle and a seatbelt violation. Her blood-alcohol concentration was reportedly 0.12 percent. Court records indicate she signed a $2,000 signature bond July 20 that orders her not to consume any nonprescription controlled substances or possess drug paraphernalia. She has a preliminary hearing July 31.
MISDEMEANORS
Trevor C. Hahn, 25, Brodhead, was granted a deferred prosecution agreement Wednesday after he pleaded no contest to possessing marijuana. As part of the agreement, a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia was conditionally dismissed. If Hahn follows all conditions of the agreement, both charges will be fully dismissed after three months. He is ordered to continue to follow the conditions of a $500 signature bond he signed April 22 that orders him not to consume any nonprescription controlled substances or possess drug paraphernalia. He also must commit no new crimes and pay a fine and court costs. Police records indicate he owes the court $330.50. The charges stemmed from an April 17 incident in which Hahn was arrested and jailed after police stopped him for a window tint violation on County GG at Wis. 11 in the Town of Spring Grove and found a bag containing 29 grams of marijuana and a digital scale.
Tanya C. Gruter, 23, Belleville, had a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia dismissed Wednesday. The charge stemmed from a Jan. 19 incident in which police found her vehicle in a ditch in the W5200 block of Airport Road in the Town of New Glarus and later found two metal grinders in her purse.
