FELONIES
Joseph Donald Fico, 31, Monroe, was charged Jan. 10 with a Class H felony count of bail jumping after he failed to appear at a preliminary hearing on Jan. 4 for a 2016 identity theft case. Fico appeared in custody on Jan. 24 and has another preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 3.
Brad Allen Scott, 38, Gratiot, was charged Jan. 10 with a Class H felony count of bail jumping after he failed to appear at a preliminary hearing on Jan. 4 for a 2016 identity theft case. Scott appeared in court Jan. 20 and has another preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 9.
Nancy Lee Pfaff, 49, Monroe, was charged Jan. 12 with two Class H felony counts of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Pfaff was charged after police received an anonymous tip that Pfaff was smoking marijuana, in violation of her bond from a 2016 drunk-driving offense, in the 700 block of 18th Street, Monroe. Police found several bowls for the storage and smoking of marijuana, the possession of which led to the second count of bail jumping. A $1,750 signature bond was set Jan. 12 with conditions that Pfaff not consume or possess any intoxicants or controlled substances. The maximum possible sentence for her charges is six years in prison.
Shad M. Amacher, 38, Marengo, Indiana, was charged Jan. 13 with six Class I felony counts of failure to make child support payments. Amacher's charges stem from a period from April 1, 2015, to Nov. 31, 2016, when he failed to make any child support payments to the two children to whom he is obligated to make said payments. Each charge represents an approximately six-month period of no payments to one child. A warrant for Amacher's arrest was filed Jan. 13; he has yet to be apprehended. His maximum possible sentence is nine years in prison.
Brady T. Harnish, 47, Freeport, was charged Jan. 20 with a Class H felony count of sex registry violation. Harnish was charged after he failed to verify his address information with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry, despite repeated warnings to do so. Harnish is required to provide address updates and verifications to the registry for the rest of his life after he was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 1993. Last known to be residing in Freeport, Harnish failed to respond to four months of repeated orders to verify his address with the registry in 2016. Harnish has not yet been apprehended. His maximum possible sentence is three years in prison.
John Lyle Carothers Muszynski, 25, Monticello, was charged Jan. 23 with two Class H felony counts of bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Muszynski was charged after a woman contacted police regarding a domestic abuse incident that occurred between Muszynski and herself on Jan. 21. While police were interviewing the victim, they found a glass smoking pipe that belonged to Muszynski. Muszynski signed a $2,500 signature bond Jan. 24 with conditions that he not consume any controlled substances or have any contact with the victim. Muszynski's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24. His maximum possible sentence is six years in prison.
