• The court Jan. 20 ordered Jamie L. Churchill, 31, Monroe, to pay $960 in fines and court costs and suspended his driver's license for six months, after he pleaded no contest to marijuana charges. The license suspension runs consecutively with revocation in another case.Churchill was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both unclassified misdemeanors. He faced up to 7 months in jail and $1,500 in fines. Court records indicate Churchill, on or about July 20, 2010, in the Town of Clarno, had 8.9 grams of marijuana in a back pack in his vehicle and had three metal smoking devices for the intended purpose to use with a controlled substance.

The court dismissed on the prosecutor's motion two counts of possession of an illegally-obtained prescription, unclassified misdemeanors, and one count of intention to contribute to the delinquency of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
