FELONIES
The court Wednesday sentenced Christopher J. McGoff, 28, Monroe, to two years probation and one year in jail with work release privileges after he pleaded no contest to fifth-offense drunken driving and failure to stop for a traffic officer.
He faced more than six years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class H felony and unclassified misdemeanor.
The court dismissed one count of driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, a class H felony, and two counts of bail jumping, both class A misdemeanors. He originally faced more than 14 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines.
Court records indicate he was arrested March 22 in Green County. He failed to pull over in a timely manner when signaled by officers.
The court Wednesday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a Feb. 3 district attorney conference for Anthony E. Brown-Miller, 17, Monroe, who stood mute to charges stemming from a disturbance.
Court records allege he grabbed a woman by the neck, pushed her into a wall, threatened her, punched a hole into a wall and tried to prevent the woman from calling the police Nov. 15 at a Monroe residence.
He is charged with intimidation of a victim, a class G felony, battery and criminal damage to property, both class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than 11 years in prison and up to $46,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.
The court on Dec. 17 scheduled a Feb. 3 district attorney conference for Troy A. Wagner, 33, Oregon, who pleaded not guilty to charges related to a disturbance.
Court records allege he grabbed a woman by the neck, lifted her off the floor and hit her head against a wall Nov. 16 in Exeter township. He also broke a chain lock on a door and entered the residence.
He is charged with strangulation and suffocation; trespassing, entry into a locked building, and battery, all class A misdemeanors; and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than eight years in prison and up to $41,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.

Court records allege he was arrested for drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration Nov. 6 in Monroe.
He is charged with drunken driving, fifth-offense or sixth-offense, and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, both class H felonies. He faces up to 12 years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.
MISDEMEANORS
The court Dec. 15 scheduled a Jan. 20 district attorney conference for Michale A. Cook, 46, Monroe, who pleaded not guilty to hit and run and obstructing an officer Oct. 25 in Monroe.
Court records allege he left the scene of an accident in which someone was hurt and later told police his vehicle had been stolen prior to the time of the crash.
He is charged with hit and run, an unclassified misdemeanor, and obstructing an officer, a class A misdemeanor. He faces up to 18 months in jail and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $1,000 signature bond.
