Green County

Felonies


• Jeffrey Adam Hogue, 27, New Glarus, was charged Aug. 22 with a Class H felony count of false imprisonment and with counts of disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property, stemming from an incident Aug. 18 in the 800 block of 5th Street. Court records indicate he screamed at and bruised a woman, grabbed her by the neck, called her foul names, pushed her down to the ground, threw her phone against a tile wall, shoved her against a car door and blocked her a locked car for 10 minutes. His signature bond is set at $3,000. His preliminary hearing is Sept. 13.



Misdemeanors

• Jeremy Richard Mena, 30, Rockford, pleaded no contest Aug. 16 to a misdemeanor charge of fleeing a Monroe police officer in a vehicle on March 31. He is ordered to pay the court $1,006.80 in monthly installments of $50. Mena is also convicted of reckless driving and failure to stop at a stop sign, stemming from the same incident in March.

• Leslie Allan Riley, 42, Brodhead, was charged Aug. 16 with misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct, stemming from a dispute with a woman at his home on 9th Street July 19. Court records indicate he yelled and swore at her, called her foul names, grabbed her by the hair and forcefully pushed his forehead against hers, grabbed and squeezed her cheek, causing bruising, while saying "I ought to punch you." Not guilty plea are entered in the case. His signature bond is set at $1,000. He has a pre-trial conference Oct. 1.

• Jaime Castellanos-Lugo, Jr., 23, Monroe, was charged Aug. 19 with a Class A misdemeanor count of theft. Court records indicate that in February he stole two aluminum planks, a bender and four sets of scaffolding from the 800 block of 24th Street, as a party to a crime. The total value of the alleged stolen property is about $2,000. He has an initial appearance Sept. 24.



Lafayette County

Felonies


• Thomas Robert Lindholm, 41, Mineral Point, was charged Aug. 12 with a Class H felony count of child abuse. Court records indicate he tackled a 14-year-old boy, knocked him to the ground and punched/strangled him at a home on Lake Joy Lane in Belmont Township on Aug. 9. Lindholm's signature bond is set at $5,000. His preliminary hearing is Sept. 3.

• Lisa Ann Ubersox, 36, Hazel Green, aka Lisa A. Woodworth, was charged Aug. 21 with three Class H felony counts of forgery. Court records indicate she forged checks totaling $258 between April and June to L&M Bakery, 333 Main St., Darlington.

• Carrie A. Zekoff, 37, Gratiot, was charged Aug. 21 with felony bail jumping and a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, stemming from an incident on West Water Street in Shullsburg June 26. Court records indicate she and another woman yelled at an officer and pounded on the outside of his squad while he was attempting to take a teen boy to a detention center. Zekoff has an adjourned initial appearance Sept. 9. The other woman, Franki L. Hale, 46, Shullsburg, is also charged with a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.



Misdemeanors

• Harry M. Mears, 54, Belmont, was charged Aug. 13 with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property, stemming from an incident June 26. He has an adjourned initial appearance Sept. 9.

• Kimberly Marie Bordner, 26, Warren, was charged Aug. 21 with a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, stemming from an incident July 14 in the 100 block of Huntington Court in Darlington. Her initial appearance is Sept. 16.

• Richard Preston Kalpinski, 27, Shullsburg, was charged Aug. 21 with misdemeanor counts of possessing THC (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia May 26 on Milwaukee Street in Argyle. Court records indicate an officer stopped him for having expired vehicle plates and saw a baggie of marijuana on Kalpinski's lap and located a multicolored glass pipe in the vehicle. Kalpinski's arraignment is Sept. 9.
