WARREN - Brian A. Pauly, 31, of Warren, IL and formerly of Shullsburg, WI, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Brian was born on September 28, 1977 in Darlington, WI. He was the son of David A. and Rebecca R. (Ubersox) Pauly. Brian was a graduate of Shullsburg Public High School in the class of 1996. He attended 6 months training for Heavy Equipment Operator at Sun Prairie, WI. Brian married Trina Vance on December 25, 2000 at the Apple River United Methodist Church. He was employed by Industrial Combustion Company in Monroe as a welder. He also worked construction for Gary Sands Construction Company, and later the Roelli Cheese Company of Shullsburg as a diesel mechanic. Brian had his black belt in the martial arts and Kung Fu and he accomplished 1st place at many of the meets over the years. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and cooking. He especially loved his family and was always very willing to help others in need.

He is survived by his wife Trina and daughter, Madison and son, Brayden, all of Warren; his parents, David and Rebecca Pauly of Shullsburg and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many cousins. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Judith Vance of Warren, IL and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Pederson of Shullsburg and Renee Radaszewski of Jefferson, WI and a special friend Brian "Duff" Dorsey and his family of Winslow, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Larry Vance in 2004 and two uncles, Lyle and Sidney Ubersox.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2009 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren, Illinois.

Pastor Margo Peterson will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, Illinois.

Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, Illinois.
