Bobette was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. Bobette was born in Kenosha, WI, the first child of Robert and Harriette Trumpy. She was a devoted sister to Becky Trumpy Crosswait, Debbie Trumpy and Bob Trumpy. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1960. She attended her freshman year of College at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Then Bobette began her life's work as a farm wife, mother, gardener, collector and fashion maven. Bobette received her degree in fashion merchandising from Blackhawk Tech. She worked part time at Miladies on the square. Bobette's passion was running her farm and tending to her sheep. She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and its creatures.

Bobette was proud to be from Wisconsin. She was devoted to her hometown of Monroe. Bobette was active in many community organizations, especially the Historical Society and the Humane Society. Bobette was a great friend to many. We will all miss her whimsical ways, her boisterous laugh and her creative, adventurous free spirit.

Bobette was first married to Fran Donny and was the mother to Wendy, Jenny and Frank. Bobette later married Dr. Don G. Traul. She was a kind stepmother to Donald Traul and David Traul. Bobette was an easy going Mother in Law to Gene Killeen, Joe Greenwald and Marilou Donny. She was the fun-loving grandmother to Wendy's 5 children: Carrie, Erin, Maggie, Jack and Katie, Jenny's 2 boys: Trip and Ben, and Frank's 2 children: Megan and Matt.

To pay tribute to Bobette, there will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 1st at the Shriner Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Drive, Monroe, from 10:30am-12:30pm. There will then be a Memorial Service celebrating her life at the United Methodist Church, 2227 4th Street, Monroe, to begin at 4:00 pm that same day. There will be a reception following the service.

Bobette was a kind lady who was never afraid to be herself. She is now with her Husband Don, Mother, Father, and Sister Becky in heaven, gardening, bird watching, playing with her cats, going to auctions and braking for yard sales. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Monroe Historical Society or the Green County Humane Society. Please remember the joy with which Bobette lived her life and have peace in knowing she lives in paradise with the Lord.
