Audrey A. Wilhelmson, age 83 of Argyle, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 29, 2016 at home. She was born March 26, 1933 in Jordan Township in Green County, WI the daughter of Floyd and Nora (Hyland) Flannery. Audrey graduated from Argyle High School in 1950. She was united in marriage to Ralph B. Wilhelmson on October 10, 1964 at St. Victor's Catholic Church in Monroe, WI. Audrey grew up in Jordan Township and following her graduation from high school she began working at Monroe Clinic in Monroe. In 1964 she and Ralph moved to Wiota Township, Lafayette County, where they farmed until his passing in 1987. She then moved into the village of Argyle and worked for Dr. Joseph Ganshert's Dental Office as a receptionist and later at GreenCo Industries, a workshop for the handicapped, both in Monroe. She also provided daycare for her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Margaret Ann (Carl) Howard of Machesney Park, IL, Mary Jo (Jeff) Dammen, Dale (Stacy Conwell) Wilhelmson and Maureen (Kevin) Phillips all of Argyle; six grandchildren: Jackie (Jared) Johnson, Jeannie (Andy) Silver, Tracy Dammen, Travis Dammen, Nicholas Howard, and Brianna Phillips; two brothers: Dean (Janet) Flannery of Argyle and Roger (Phyllis) Flannery of Brodhead, WI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph on September 1, 1987; and one grandson: Jesse Lee Dammen.

Audrey was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Argyle, it's Council of Catholic Women, and was also a CCD teacher. Audrey loved spending time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (213 N. Lafayette St) a branch of St. Isidore's Parish with Rev. Thomas Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. where a rosary will be prayed at 3:00 P.M. A visitation will also be held from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at the church on Monday. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Audrey's name.

The family would like to thank Caring Heart's, Home Town Helpers, Monroe Clinic Home Health Care and Hospice, the staff at both Monroe Clinic and UW-Madison Hospitals, Argyle 204 and Ryan Brothers Ambulance and last but not least, to all of the family, friends, and clergy who have supported Audrey and her family.
