Ann L. Voegeli age 66 of Monroe, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her home. Ann was born September 15, 1947 in Monroe, the daughter of Peter Jr. and Colleen (Meier) Hasler. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1965 and married Larry Voegeli in 1967. Ann worked for Equity Livestock and Emmi Roth Case for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe. Ann was known as a hard worker and enjoyed bowling, softball, volleyball, and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Jeremy Voegeli and his daughter, Kristina, Toni Voegeli and her children, Ty, Tre, and Jevon, Jesse (Sarah) Voegeli and their children, Taylor, Garret, and Owen, and Justin Voegeli all of Monroe; her mother, Colleen Hasler of Monroe; two sisters, Margaret (Rick) Lehr of Reesville, WI, Kathy (Terry) Casey of Roberts, WI; a sister-in-law, Mary Jo Hasler of Monroe; a brother-in-law, Buck Drach of Aurora, IL; several nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion, Kenny Grossen of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Don and Fred Hasler; sister, Rose Augsburg-Drach; and a nephew, Brian Monte.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe, with Rev. Tiff Bates officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, followed by a luncheon at the Monroe Moose Lodge. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe. A memorial fund will be established in Ann's name.
