Aaron D. Saalsaa, age 27, of Argyle, WI, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born August 14, 1985 in Monroe, WI, the son of Dean and Carolyn (Keesey) Saalsaa. Aaron graduated from Argyle High School in 2004. He lived in Argyle all of his life and worked as a Welder Fabricator for Monroe Truck for nine years. Aaron was united in marriage to Jessica Ruf on May 7, 2011 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington, WI.

Aaron is survived by his wife: Jessica; his mother: Carolyn of Blanchardville, WI; two daughters: Kendyl Ruf of Mineral Point and Tessa Saalsaa of Darlington; three brothers: Robert (Hayley) Saalsaa of Argyle, Richard (Jessica) Saalsaa of Blanchardville, and Dan Saalsaa of Argyle; one sister: Minda Saalsaa of Pecatonica, IL; and two nieces: Alisha Esselstein and Jena Saalsaa. He was preceded in death by his father: Dean on July 3, 2008.

Aaron was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, trapping, mushroom and ginseng hunting. He enjoyed playing pool for Toby's Place and bowling, in which, he bowled three 300 games. Aaron also enjoyed playing baseball and softball. He was a true Cubby fan. Aaron will always be remembered by his family and friends for his bright eyes and smile.

Funeral services will be held for family and close friends on Friday, April 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Argyle Lutheran Church, 100 East Street in Argyle with Rev. Daniel L. Bohlman of Apple Grove Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in rural Argyle. A visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 801 East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.
