●  Deputies assisted Darlington police with a check welfare at 12:59 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington. 

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:47 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton. 

●  Brian J. Tucsek, 52, Woodstock, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 10:09 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. 

●  Cory D. Roe, 23, Shawnee, Oklahoma, was cited for speeding at 10:45 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. 

●  Douglas D. Darling, 33, Carol Stream, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 11:34 p.m. on Wil. 11, Town of Gratiot. 

●  David D. Delarosa, 23, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 11:57 p.m. on County J in Benton. 

On April 18: 

●  Joann M. Kohl, 67, Shullsburg, was arrested at 3:53 p.m. by Platteville police on a Lafayette County warrant. She was released. 

●  A civil dispute was reported at 4:26 p.m. on 2nd Street in Benton. 

●  Rodrigo Rodrguez-Mayahua, 28, Lancaster, was cited for driving without a license, no vehicle insurance and driving left of center at 9:03 p.m. on West Platteville Avenue in Belmont. 

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 11:38 p.m. on North Street in Argyle.

On April 19: 

●  A deputy assisted Grant County with a traffic stop at 1:27 a.m. on East Roosevelt Street in Cuba City. 

●  Found property was reported at 10:29 a.m. on North Lafayette Street in Argyle. 

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 7:09 p.m. on West Church Street in Shullsburg. 

●  A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 9:22 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  A deputy assisted Grant County Sheriff’s Department at 7:14 p.m. on West Main Street in Shullsburg. 

On April 23: 

●  An injured deer was reported at 5:02 a.m. on Short Cut Road, Town of Willow Springs. 

●  A deputy assisted Belmont police at 10:11 a.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont. 

●  An animal problem was reported at 6:42 p.m. on South Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:15 p.m. on County F, Town of Seymour. 

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 3:33 p.m. April 23 on West Main Street in Benton. Philip M. Vaughn, 81, Benton, was westbound in a 2011 Freightliner and stopping when he was rear ended by Lucas J. Jansen 16, Benton. Jansen was cited for inattentive driving. 

On April 25: 

●  Ann N. Biesboer, 34, Highland, reported hitting a deer at 1:20 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Her 2015 Jeep sustained severe damage. It was towed. 

●  Diana M. Farrey, 61, Benton, reported hitting a turkey at 4:12 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. Her 2020 Subaru sustained moderate damage. 

On April 26: 

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:18 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington and at 7:28 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. 

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 9:42 a.m. on Riverside Road, Town of Darlington. 

●  A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 11:31 a.m. on West Truth Street in Shullsburg. 

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 1:09 p.m. on West Grove Street in South Wayne.
