Monticello Police

MONTICELLO — On Nov. 3: 

● A parking complaint was reported at 4:36 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 400 block of East Coates Avenue. The vehicle was removed. 

On Nov. 15: 

● Officers responded for a vehicle unlock at 7:51 a.m. in the 400 block of East Coates Avenue.  

● Officers conducted a paper service at 1:27 p.m. in the village. 

● A traffic hazard was reported at 2:45 p.m. on Wis. 69 and County C. Officers did not locate any hazard. 

● Harassment was reported at 3:26 p.m. in the 100 block of East Lake Avenue. This remains under investigation. 

On Nov. 16: 

● Officers responded at 7:45 a.m. to the village. Monticello First Response and Green County EMS assisted. 

● Officers responded to check welfare at 8:44 a.m. in the 300 block of Garfield Street. Everything was found to be okay. 

● Fraud was reported at 3:27 p.m. in the 400 block of East Coates. This remains under investigation. 

On Nov. 17: 

● A traffic hazard was reported at 7:06 p.m. in the 400 block of South Monroe Street. 

● Officers conducted a paper service at 7:34 p.m. in the village. 

● Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:39 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 200 block of North Main Street. This remains under investigation. 

On Nov. 19: 

● Officers issued a parking ticket for after-hours parking at 2:38 a.m.  

● Officers responded at 3:49 p.m. to the village. Monticello First Response and Green County EMS assisted. 

On Nov. 21: 

● Officers responded to check welfare at 8:41 a.m. on a person living out of state. The investigation is ongoing. 

● Officers assisted Green County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control at 2:47 p.m. 

● Officers assisted New Glarus Police Department with a traffic complaint at 6:37 p.m. 

● Vandalism involving a county highway sign down was reported at 7:12 a.m. Nov. 22 on Lake Avenue and Wis. 69. Green County Highway Department was notified. 

On Nov. 23: 

● A violation of the 24-hour parking ordinance was reported at 3:09 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. A citation was issued. 

● Officers responded at 7:45 p.m. to the village. Monticello Fire First Response and Green County EMS assisted. 

On Nov. 24: 

● A parking complaint was reported at 2:41 a.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. A citation was issued. 

● Officers were requested to check a residence at 2:43 a.m. in the village by McFarland police for a person they were trying to contact. 

● A set of found keys was reported at 1:30 p.m. at a local business. The keys were returned to the owner. 

● A found debit card was reported at 6:08 p.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street. The card was returned to its owner. 

On Nov. 27: 

● Suspicious activity was reported at 2:23 a.m. in the 400 block of North Main Street. Everything was found to be okay. 

● Parking citations were issued at 3:15 a.m. in the 200 block of North Main Street and at 3:36 a.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street. 

● A vehicle vs. deer crash was reported at 11:01 p.m. Nov. 28 on East Coates Avenue and North Pratt Road. The vehicle was towed. 

● Officers assisted Green County Sheriff’s Office at 4:59 p.m. Nov. 29 on Wis. 69 and County C. 

On Nov. 30: 

● Officers responded at 9:19 a.m. to the village. Monticello Fire First Response and Green County EMS assisted. 

● Officers assisted Green County Sheriff’s Office at 6:36 p.m. in the N6800 block of Wis. 69. 

● A suspicious vehicle was reported at 12:50 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 400 block of Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.   

 

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Nov. 6: 

● Linda Bald, 62, Darlington, was cited for a child safety restraint violation at 2 p.m. on Ohio Street. 

● Steven Barnett, 34, Darlington, was cited for driving while suspended at 12:45 p.m. 

● Joel Luna, 28, Darlington, was arrested for driving after revocation after an OWI at 11:25 a.m. Nov. 7 on Galena Street. 

● Jacob R. Boegli, 28, Darlington, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and no vehicle insurance at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 10 on Alice Street. 

● Eugene L. Henry, 43, Chicago, was cited for possession of marijuana and driving after revocation at 9:54 p.m. Nov. 20 on Wis. 81. 

● Adam N. O’Brien, 40, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 21 on East Mary Street.

On Nov. 24: 

● Amy M. Hunter, 44, Beloit, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 11:35 p.m. on Wis. 23. 

● Kevin N. Eskilson, 26, Rockford, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid license at 11:35 p.m. on Wis. 23. 

● Juan Argeta, 40, Shullsburg, was cited for hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle, failure to notify police of an accident, unsafe lane deviation, driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance on Nov. 26 in the 400 block of Cornelia Steet. 

● Dwayne Williams, 51, Amelia, Ohio, was cited for driving without a valid license at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 28 on Wis. 81. 

On Nov. 30: 

● Jeremy J. Kedley, 42, Potosi, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving after revocation at 12:55 a.m. on West Louisa Street. K9 Ace assisted.  

● Joel E. Luna, 28, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving after revocation at 9:17 p.m. on Wis. 81. He was also cited for failure to stop at stop sign.
