On June 16:

● At 2:28 a.m., officers were called to a traffic crash in the 2800 block of 13th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Fredy Moranchel Tapia (21), of Freeport, IL, was traveling west on 13th Street, when it lost control and struck a legally parked, unattended truck and trailer. The collision caused disabling damage to Moranchel Tapia’s vehicle and the trailer. There were no reported injuries, and the offending vehicle was towed. Moranchel Tapia was arrested for operating while intoxicated-1st offense, operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration greater than .15, and was also cited for operating without insurance and inattentive driving. Moranchel Tapia was released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance. 

● At 3:30 p.m., officers were called to Twining Park for a complaint. The investigation led to the arrest of Keandre K. Euell (20) of Freeport, IL, on a charge of manufacture/delivery/distribution of Tetrahydrocannabinols (marijuana). Euell was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.
