On November 26:
● 12:50 p.m. A deputy responded to Valley RD, Argyle Township for a one-vehicle accident. Dakota D Shulka, 28, Monticello failed to notice a stop sign. As a result, Shulka was unable to come to a complete stop causing him to enter the ditch where he struck a telephone box. No injuries were reported. Shulka’s 2020 Ram received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 5:36 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Wayne Township for burglary.
● 7:45 p.m. A deputy responded to Fort Defiance RD, Fayette Township for trespassing.
On November 27:
● 1:26 a.m. A deputy responded to Prospect ST, Willow Springs Township for suspicious activity.
● 5:03 a.m. Casey J Stanton, 45, Darlington reported striking a deer on Riverside RD, Wiota Township. No injuries were reported and Stanton’s 2008 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● 10:29 a.m. A deputy responded to Noble ST in the Village of Gratiot for a burglary.
● 5:17 p.m. Kerin M Soto-Velasquez, 26, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH P, Monticello Township. No injuries were reported and Soto-Velasquez’s 2012 Chevrolet received severe damage and was towed from the scene.
● 6:12 p.m. Deputies responded to High ST, New Diggings Township to assist Department of Corrections. Ian D Champion, 29, Lancaster was arrested for a Probation Violation and brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains in custody.
On November 28:
● 10:50 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, Benton Township for criminal damage.
● 4:00 p.m. Benton Fire and First responded to Shawnee RD, New Diggings Township for a trailer fire. The trailer was a total loss. Deputies assisted on scene.
On November 29:
● 12:44 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for suspicious circumstances.
● 6:58 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Darlington Township for a minor two vehicle accident. Richard P Moyer, 60, Cuba City was backing up in his 2010 Hyundai when he struck a parked 2018 Buick owned by Nicholas J Zuberbuhler, 51, Darlington. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles received minor damage and were driven from the scene.
