On March 29:

● 9:32 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH O, White Oak Springs Township for a two-vehicle accident. Ricky P. Perez, 37, Chicago was traveling westbound in his 2020 Chevrolet when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2013 GMC driven by Stacey M. Szynkowski, 36, Scales Mound. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles received moderate damage and were towed from the scene. Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS assisted on scene.

● 6:39 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH F, Fayette Township for a check welfare. As a result, Spencer L. Olson, 69, Blanchardville was arrested for OWI (3rd). Olson was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and currently remains. Darlington Police and Lafayette County EMS assisted on scene.

● 6:56 p.m. A deputy responded to Sawmill RD, Argyle Township for a check welfare. As a result, Sondra M. Fisher, 51, Wausau was arrested for Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, Resisting/Obstructing, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fisher was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and currently remains. Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.

On April 1:

● 7:16 a.m. Rachel C. Langmeier, 28, Hazel Green reported striking a deer on CTH O, White Oak Springs Township. Langmeier reported no injuries. Langmeier’s 2018 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:35 p.m. Gauge A. Hayes, 24, Montfort was traveling on W Mound RD, Belmont Township when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, struck a fence and came to a stop in a pasture. Hayes and his three passengers, Hunter R. Judd, 20, Dodgeville, Marcus J. Parrish, 22, Rewey, and Thomas D. Kennedy, 25, Platteville reported no injuries. Parrish’s 2001 Ford received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Belmont Police assisted.

On April 4:

12:59 a.m. Kevin M. Niemeyer, 28, Shullsburg was arrested on STH 11, Gratiot Township for OWI (2nd), Operating after Revocation, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of THC. Niemeyer was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and currently remains. Lafayette County EMS assisted.

5:22 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 11, Village of South Wayne for illegal dumping. As a result, Nicole E. Harding, 36, Monroe was cited for Illegal Dumping.

On April 6:

● 6:59 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to STH 23, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Roger L. Sperry, 77, Darlington was travelling on STH 23 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, entered the ditch, struck a fence and came to a rest in a pasture. Sperry was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Sperry’s 2016 Dodge received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Deputies and Darlington Police assisted.

On April 8:

● 6:34 a.m. Cooper J. Prochaska, 29, Lancaster reported striking a deer on STH 81, Lamont Township. Prochaska reported no injuries. Prochaska’s 2014 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

● 9:14 p.m. Deputies responded to Stone RD, Willow Springs Township for a disorderly dispute. Jordan J. Torstenson, 34, Mineral Point was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

On April 10:

● 12:10 a.m. Douglas J. McArthur, 65, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on CTH G, Kendall Township. McArthur reported no injuries. The 2021 Ram that McArthur was operating received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
