MONROE — Even under stay-at-home regulations, patients still require access to the care they need.
During this uncertain time, Monroe Clinic continues to offer high-quality care to its patients and communities. They are keeping the patients, care team and providers safe by offering telehealth appointments, during which patients can speak with a provider without leaving their home.
During a telehealth appointment, providers connect with patients via video chat or phone call to diagnose, treat, educate and prescribe appropriate medications. A telehealth visit is a valuable option for a variety of conditions and an alternative for some follow-up visits.
A telehealth visit is billed to the patient’s insurance at the normal in-person provider’s visit copay. If the patient does not have insurance, the fee for a telehealth appointment will be the same out-of-pocket cost as a normal in-person provider visit.
Monroe Clinic patients who’d like to schedule a telehealth visit should call their provider’s office. To learn more about Monroe Clinic’s telehealth services, visit monroeclinic.org/telehealth.
