MONROE - In a meeting Monday, Aug. 16, the City of Monroe Public Safety Committee:
• Approved making a no-parking area in 1800 block of 13th Avenue to widen the southeast intersection by removing two parking spaces.
• Recommend the Common Council to approve special events for Green County Cheese Days, Monroe Lions Club Huber Bock and Blues Music Festival, and Emmi-Roth Kase Employee Picnic.
