MADISON - Cheese Underground Radio, a new podcast telling the stories of Wisconsin and American artisan cheesemakers, made its debut last week.
The podcast is written and co-produced by cheesemonger and author Jeanne Carpenter and builds on the success of her long-running blog, CheeseUnderground.com.
To celebrate the debut of Cheese Underground Radio, three episodes dropped Wednesday. Each 20-minute segment explores a different topic through interviews and visits with cheesemakers, dairy farmers and industry experts. The episodes available are:
Meet Sartori Master Cheesemaker Mike Matucheski's future replacement
Tour the underground Caves of Faribault with Jeff Jirik and Jill Ellingson
Visit the dairies of Red Barn Family Farms with Dr. Terry Homan
Cheese Underground Radio is available on iTunes and all podcast platforms. A new episode will be available every Wednesday. For more information, visit CheeseUnderground.com.
