MADISON - AgSource Cooperative Services announced that Amber Boeke is joining the DHI Field Technician staff. Boeke will be working with dairy operations located in Rock County, Walworth County, and throughout southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
She will be assisting clients with monthly DHI testing and general records management, in addition to providing products and services to enhance herd profitability.
Boeke is originally from Juda. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, graduating with a bachelor's degree in animal science with a dairy emphasis and an agribusiness minor.
While there she active in the Pioneer Dairy Club, Dairy Judging and the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge. She served as 2003-04 Juda Dairy Queen. She also exhibited the Grand Champion Brown Swiss of the Junior Show at the 2007 World Dairy Expo. Boeke owns 14 dairy animals and continues to be involved with her family's dairy farm, Mill Hill Dairy LLC located in Juda.
