The Green County Human Services Board Audit Subcommittee will meet at 1 p.m. in the Government Services Building, second floor conference room 207. Agenda items include audit for bills and closed session to audit client specific bills.

Monday, March 9

The Black Hawk School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the school library, 202 E. Center St., South Wayne. 

The Green County Zoning and Land Use Committee will meet at 4 p.m. in the Green County Courthouse second floor conference room, 1016 16th Ave. Agenda items include a review of the zoning department bills and a public hearing to rezone a parcel of land  in the Town of Sylvester for the expansion of an existing manufacturing use. 

The Lafayette County Joint Manor/Hospital Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the MHLC Conference Room. Agenda items include an update on the Lafayette Manor and Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County review.

The Green County Highway Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the Green County Highway Department. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on several items including a bus rental for chainsaw training at the Iowa County Highway Department in April and hiring temporary laborers and skilled LTEs to complete summer projects. 

The Lafayette County Building and Insurance Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse conference room 202. Agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding the future of a highway department storage building and courthouse handicap accessible restrooms.

The Lafayette County Economic Development committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse county board room. Agenda items include an update on the Regional Entrepreneurial Grant and discussion and possible action on the appointment of lay members for a two-year term.

Tuesday, March 10

The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Green County Sheriff’s training/meeting office. Agenda items include review and approve updates on the radio system and possible review and approval of purchase of police vehicles through local county and state bid.

The Green County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. in the Green County Courthouse county board room. Agenda items include resolutions to adopt a citizen participation plan and designate county elected officer salaries. 

Thursday, March 12

The Blackhawk Technical College Board Appointment Committee will meet at 3 p.m. at the college in the board room, 6004 S. County G, Janesville. The meeting will be a public hearing to review candidate applications for the board.

The Green County Solid Waste Management Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Green County Solid Waste Management Office. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on the landfill manager’s wages and benefits.

The Lafayette County Highway Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the highway department conference room. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on bridge, employee and equipment updates.
