MONROE — Colony Brands, Inc., a long-time supporter of health, fitness and youth activity programs for its employees, their families and communities, offered a $400,000 challenge to the Green County Family YMCA to propel them to reach $600,000 in a fundraising effort earlier this year.
The YMCA successfully met the challenge, which included raising $200,000 for the campaign and meeting certain membership goals.
John Baumann, Colony Brands President and CEO, said that the fundraising challenge between the Colony Brands Foundation and the Green County Family YMCA is a great example of the foundation’s purpose and also brings to life one of the company’s core values — to generously support its employees and communities.
Each year, Colony Brands Inc., the Colony Brands Foundation and the R. Kubly Family Foundation partner with over 350 different organizations to help build communities through monetary donations, growth challenges and time.
