Weddings: Becker-Goeke

Lindsay Jean Becker, daughter of Greg and Linda Becker, Juda, and Timothy Joseph Goeke, son of David and Valerie Goeke, Dakota, were united in marriage 1:30 p.m. Sept. 26, 2009 in Zion United Methodist Church, Juda. The Rev. Thomas Miller Sr. performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Greg Becker.

Soloists were Jim Goeke and Michelle Borgmann. They were accompanied by Elizabeth Sorn, pianist, and JoAnn Hawthorn, organist.

Maid of honor was Amber Boeke. Bridesmaids were Calli Matzke, Melissa Broger, Loni Goeke and Samantha Goeke.

Best man was Wade Rosebrook. Groomsmen were Curt Goeke, Ben Goeke, Mike Wells and Kevin Becker. The groomsmen also served as ushers.

Natalie Mora was the flower girl and Gianni Mora was ring bearer. Candace Wells and Tracey Schurch attended the guest book. Andrea Hapfelder was the personal attendant. Val Goeke and Linda Becker were candle lighters.

The bride chose a white strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline outlined in three rows of pleated satin and a bodice accented with an elegant beaded and embroidery pattern and corset back. The front skirt features an embroidery pattern and the hem is trimmed in two rows of purple satin.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with white vest and purple tie.

Their reception was held at The Roller Den in Monroe. The couple went to Breezes Resort, Rio Bueno, Jamaica in February 2010 for their honeymoon.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Juda High School and received an Associate of Arts and Science degree in 2007 from Highland Community College. She is employed at the Lindo Theatre in Freeport.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Dakota High School. He is employed at S & J Machine in Freeport.

The couple lives in Dakota.
