Wedding: Valencia-Henning

Abraham Valencia and Jennifer Henning, Monticello, were united in marriage March 1, 2008. The Rev. David Busker performed the ceremony at the United Methodist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Henry Henning.

Parents of the bride are Henry and Susan Henning, Brodhead. Parents of the groom are Consolacion Valencia, Philippines, and the late Basilio Valencia.

Matron of Honor was Heather Liphart, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Henrietta Timm, Gena Henning, Kelsey Henning, all sisters of the bride; Carrie Norder and Sara Henning, sisters-in-law of the bride; and CPT Josephine Daniels, CPT Shannon Kilcoyne and SFC Lisa O'Leary.

Best man was Fred Norder, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Joseph Henning, brother of the bride; Dudley Timm and Shanon Liphart, brothers-in-law of the bride. The ushers were SFC Timothy Hilgendorf and SFC Michael Olson.

Personal attendants were Autumn Pehl, niece of the bride, and Megan Rackow and Amy Henning, sisters of the bride; and SPC Cristal Guillotte. Ring bearers were Joseph Norder, nephew of the bride and Isaak Valencia, son of the bride and groom.

Their reception was held at Heritage Hall in Monroe. They honeymooned in Key Largo, Fla.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Juda High School. She is serving full time in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and has an upcoming deployment January 2009-February 2010.

The groom is a graduate of Arellano University, Philippines, with a bachelors degree. He is currently employed at the New Glarus Nursing Home.

They reside in Monticello.
