MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center is proud to present Telling Their Stories by photographer Brian Wolfe. Telling Their Stories will be on exhibit in the Wellington/Muranyi Gallery from Friday Sept. 9 through Nov. 5.
Brian Wolfe was born and raised in Newburgh, CT, and became fascinated with photography as a young child. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Connecticut, Wolfe successfully made his mark in the theater and film industry. The photographer spent over 30 years working at one of New York’s finest sculpture, custom prop and thermoforming shops. Wolfe returned to photography later in life and has not left since. Refusing to pick a genre of photography, Wolfe continues to challenge himself to capture anything that grabs his interest and tells a candid story.
The Monroe Arts Center will be holding an Opening Reception and Gallery Talk for Telling Their Stories on Friday Sept. 9 from 5-7 p.m. in the Wellington/Muranyi Gallery.
