Katlyn M. Lee, Monroe, has been named to the 2009 spring semester dean's list at Ripon College, Ripon. To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve a 3.40 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale and complete at least 12 credits of regular letter-graded work. Katlyn, majoring in biology, is in her first year at the college.

Natalie Louise Black, daughter of Bryan and Shelly Black, Darlington, graduated cum laude from Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. on May 16, 2009 with a bachelor of arts in comm arts/literature education. Black is a 2005 graduate of Darlington High School.
