St. John's plans fall fest Oct. 19

MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ will host its annual Autumn Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 in Fellowship Hall at the church, 1724 14th St.

Activities include a silent auction; bake, craft and handiwork sale; a kid's corner; and a quilt raffle. The quilt was pieced by Ila Duerst and handquilted by St. John's Sewing Ladies. The drawing for the quilt will take place at 2 p.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes hot turkey dressing, barbecue sandwich or hot dog, chips, green bean casserole or corn, salad, beverages and dessert.
