South Wayne blood drive exceeds quota

SOUTH WAYNE - The Red Cross Blood Drive at South Wayne Marty's Village Inn on March 10 exceeded the quota of 30 by three, with 35 potential donors presenting.

Donors were Loretta Brummel, Dorothy Seffrood, Sandy Quinn, Cheryl Dale, Grant Dale, Richard Fernsteadt, Larry Burkhalter, Jim Stietz, Jack Hagen, Keith Jackson, Steven Lenzen, Robert Hull, Becky Stietz, Lucas Stietz, Mary Zimmerman, Tom Wellnitz, Sarah Mueller, Zachary Hudson, Jeffrey Blum, Jim Meier, Howard Sutherland, Anna Showalter, Jennifer Burns, Michael Emzen, Mary McKnight, Tim Stauffer, David Kaempfer, Frank Pivonka, Gary Burns, Donna Wyss, Steve Bechtolt, Suzanne Robertson, Monica Koch, and Colette Wyttenbach.

Donating to the canteen were Valley View Cheese, cheese; South Wayne Mart, milk; St. John's Catholic Church, sandwiches; Joyce Paulson and Carole Broge, sandwiches; Lori Sawdey, cookies; and Connie Meier, sausage and crackers. Workers for the day were Carole Broge, Joyce Paulson and Loretta Brummel.
