Senior center to hold annual Christmas dinner

MONROE - The Behring Senior Center will have its annual Christmas dinner party at noon Tuesday in the gym.

The menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, Waldorf salad, a roll, a variety of dessert selections and a beverage. Menu substitutions are not available. A waiting list for the event is available.

Author Rochelle Pennington will speak at 1:30 p.m. on her book about the Great Lakes storm of 1912, in which a ship loaded with Christmas trees went down. One must be on the dinner list to attend the presentation.

The event is for people ages 55 and older. Contact the senior center at 608-325-3173 for more information.
