MONROE — The Monroe Arts Center will present The Quebe Sisters Band at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19 in the Gunderson Stiles Concert Hall.
Grace, Sophia, and Hulda Quebe front an innovative Progressive Western Swing band of archtop guitar, upright bass, fiddles and sibling harmony. The Dallas-based five-piece presents a unique Americana blend of Western Swing, Jazz-influenced Swing, Country, Texas-Style Fiddling, and Western music.
With over fifteen years of touring to date, The Quebe Sisters have delivered their authentic triple fiddle and three-part harmony sound to the concert halls and festivals of North America and Europe. The sisters channel the musical connection between danceability and emotiveness by incorporating the classic roots of Western Swing with their own modern twist.
Tickets range in price between $10-30, and can be purchased visiting monroeartscenter.com or calling 608-325-5700.
The Quebe Sisters concert has been supported by MAC Corporate Underwriter Colony Brands, Inc. and Season Media Underwriter Big Radio, with additional support from Andy & Julie Wilke, Henry Najat, Mike & Norah Sanders, Don Amphlett & Jan Johnson, Bill & Elaine Bethke, Wil & Pat Klippel, Jim & Judy Munro, Bob & Nan Rudd.
