Openings in Parks and Rec summer dance program

MONROE - Monroe Parks and Recreation Department still has openings in the Children's Summer Dance program, Ballet I and III.

Dancers meet on Mondays from June 19 through Aug. 7 at the Behring Senior Center. There will be no classes July 3. The cost is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents. The new summer instructors are Kajen Medenwaldt and Sadie Szabelski.

Ballet I is for ages 3-5 and will meet from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. Three spots are open.

Ballet II is for ages 4 and 5 but is full.

Ballet III is for ages 5 and up, advanced, and will meet from 6:25 to 6:55 p.m. There are seven spots open.

Children may register online or stop at the temporary office at 1064 5th Ave., Monroe, across from PDC. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation office at 608-329-2460.
